I have some stupid kodak camera that only uploads video files to be played in quicktime. Yet, the only movie editor program I have is windows movie maker, which supports about every type of movie file except what I upload. Does anyone know of a free movie editor that I can download so I can edit my vids? Ill give you a shiney new movie of a wot pass

Actualy i know a program that will convert the vid file to what ever you want. I don't know if i still have it, but it is a free download. So I'll check my extra harddrive for it. If i don't I'll look for it on the internet an paste a link for you.

You should be able to adjust the settings of your camera's file output. If not, check on the windows site to see if they have a plug-in to read a quicktime vid.

If you still can't get it to work. PM me and we can arrange to have you send it to me, I can alter the format, then send it back so you can edit it. I used to own a video editing business, but lost interest, but I still have Final Cut HD on my comp which will read just about any file you want.

This one converts fine it is a poor quality though. Im kinda looking for a converter for myself so I'll just post what i find. I like the first one but i need the sound to convert over to an i can't get that one to do that. This one is to low quality for me.
