Default Front wheel clinking

Noticed this weekend that when I am in 4 high I hear a clicking sound coming from the front drivers side wheel. Any ideas.

Wheel joint going bad. Do you notice it when you turn? Could also be 4wheel not ingaging all the way.

Reach back in there and rock the u-joint back and forth by hand to see if there is play in it. You'll probably find that there is and itmakes that lovely sound even when moving it by hand.
