ok all thanks to all the help i have gotten .. i replaced the plenum gasket.. that killed my ping.. it wasnt blown.. it was practically gone.. also replaced the noisy water pump and thermostat w/ gaskets.. also replaced the tb gasket as i took that off for easier access to the back of the engine.. the hissing noise i was hearing was in fact the upper tb gasket.. it wasnt on all that great.. its quiet now.. before i did the work.. i was getting a lousy 7.5-8 mpg... sucked for me... now im up to 14.2mpg in town.. havent taken it out on the highway yet.. also.. the plenum was so bad.. there had to of been half a quart of oil in the upper intake.. glad i got it fixed.. thanks again
