Default RP MAX ATF

ANY BODY OUT THERE USING THE ROYAL P TRANNY FLUID IN THEIR TRANNY INSTEAD OF THE ATF+3/+4?
RP SAYS THEY DONT HAVE AN EQUIVILENT TO THE MOPAR STUFF.
SO I'M WONDERING IF I AM ABOUT TO HAVE TRANNY FAILURE FOR NOT USING THE ATF+3/+4.
THANKS

I wouldn't use anything but ATF+4 ... even in the older Rams (that came with ATF+3) they now say use +4 ... it's that much better. IIRC, it's actually pure synthetic. But I'm still running my original factory stuff (after 90K+ miles) so what do I know? [&:]

If Royal Purple says not atf +4 compatable than I wouldn't run it. I'm sure the fluid is up to the task but it most likly lacks the friction modifier that the dodge trans needs for proper shifting and smooth tc engagement.
