hood scoop question

Default hood scoop question

i was woundering if there was a place i could buy a hoodscoop that worked... not one just for looks but one where i cut a hole inthe hood and mount it... i did a google search and only found theones for looks and they say u can cut the front out and the will alow cold air into the engin but im not sure if i wana rig somthing up...

yeah, i love the shaker hoods, i want one real bad. was looking at one from summit, its got the hood for about $650 and the ram air box for about $300

hmm idont like that one... i like the ones that are more of a squar because i think they match the dodge fron more

I think that design is about all you're going to find for these trucks. Finding a functional scoop is hard enough. I absolutely LOVE the look of the swept back design ... and the fact that it really works ... icing on the cake, man. [8D]

i had one lined up out here in dc...had a dual slits and a bigger opening with the ram air box for $500...found it on craigslist.org, still in the box...had to pass on it though, had to rebuild my tranny first...search around check ebay, you might be able to find a combo deal...
