Transmission rebuilt, still stuck in 1st
A transmission shop has been working on my Ram for over a week. Rebuilt transmission is in and works well until a trouble code appears and it won't shift from first. I don't remember the numbers are but it was something like "Torque Converter pressure voltage too high" and "Torque Converter pressure voltage too low".
All sensors have been replaced 3 times and the shop is now contacting the dealership for help on this one. If anyone has some clues please post them. The tech seems to think it's the transmission computer or a wire harness.

This probably doesn't happen too often...[&:]
The shop is now installing a new valve body and I'll find out later today if it's fixed. Sure glad I took powertrain warranty when I bought the truck. It's going to be an expensive claim but I only pay a deductive ($90) , fluids and diagnostic.

Yeah, good thing you took that warranty. You could be in my shoes and have a new $2000 tranny and be picking up the bill in full. [:'(]
At least it'll have a 5 year warranty on parts and labor..

I'm going crazy. My Ram has been there almost 2 weeks and I'm paying for a rental.[&:]
Still the same problem, won't shift. The tech tried 2 different valve bodies, changed all solenoids...CEL is on. The guy has been doing this for 30 years so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but this is taking FOREVER!
