If your not having problems with the temp and the 180, I dont know why I am. Maybe its the high flow pump.

I also only run the 180 thermostat in the summer. I like my heat in the winter and the 180 just doesn't do it. 195 is nice and toasty for these old bones.
My truck warms up fine, these just help it warm up faster, which on a good cold morning is nice. I doubt if I had a 195 tstat that I would ever reach that anyway, so my 180 is fine in the winter. I'm usually warm up to only about 150-165 on most cold mornings without the grill inserts. But by contrast to the ambient temp, that puts out plenty warm air in the cab.
i just put my 180 t-stat in, havnt noticed a diff in heating times. I think the truck heater got too hot with the 195 in anyhow lol. That and ive got this great feature on my truck..... remote start.... im spoiled, roll outa bed let the truck run 15 min befor going out to a warm truck :-)
