isnt it amazing how they employ the LEAST applicable, mostworthless morons at stores like that..

offrant!!! i walked in one day asking for the black sticky slimy goo that you use to re-attatch the large plastic sheet that goes between the door panel .. ole' boy handed me "muffler mend" and said .. verbatim "that'll get-r-done"

i walked out

As a recently retired low applicable moron, try spending 30 days on myside of the counter...but I degress.
That and, most of em don'tpay much...and you get what you pay for. 'NUFF said.

BTW, your Ram is simple. It takes a 1/2 20 threaded drain plug. Any magnetic plug with those threads will work. Of course you may get the same "blank stare deer in the headlights look " when you ask for one. Just insist you need one. I usually tell em its for "an inboard magneto on an RAF mosquito." Kudos if you know what I really said!
I tried to find the number in Dorman, but the description is too vague.

They probably have some on a rack or shelf somewhere. Just take a look around.

LOL !

They are a lost bunch. Got a new water pump and asked if they had the by-pass tube. They said " uuuuuuhhhh, dealer item". I went back for the core cash and was looking around while I waited for other unsuspecting suckers, I mean customers, asking them questions and lookie what I found on the rack in the HELP parts section but the very tube I went to a dealer to buy.

live and learn I guess.
