Loudest exhaust eh.. just pull the cat and run straight pipes.

If you're not looking into that then look into a 40 series flowmaster.. It has pretty good tone and noise. Not overly obnoxious, but good sounding. I wish I would have gone with the 40 over the 50 myself.

I have a '97 Ram 5.2 withCeramic Coated Headers, Magnaflow Hi-Flow Cat (This made the biggest performance gain and made the noise come out alot louder that the ~~~&gt and a FlowMaster 40 series exiting the truck right in front of the rear tire. This is very loud and it makes everything shake in the cab. Almost unbearable with all the windows up.

I did this but am still running a muffler and it definitely made the exhaust louder. You may need an O2 sim for your post-cat O2 sensor.

The gibson's super truck is quite loud. If you want louder you'll probably have to lose the cat or maybe just staight pipe after the cat. A cut-out between the cat and the muffler would allow you to be loud when you want but still retain your drivability for everyday driving.

I run a 40 series Flow master with dual pipes that dump forward of the pass rear tire. This is a very loud muffler with a good tone, however if youdrive the freeway allotyou may regret this muffler...it has a horrible drone at highway speeds. If you have never heard these trucks with straight pipes I wouldnt recomend it, they sound like a$$. I have heard the aeroturbine muffle and they sound great as did the 3" in with 2 1/4 dual outs glass pack I had on mine back when it was new.

Ihave a 3" catback with a Flowmaster 40 on it. Right now the tip is aimed at the ground. With the exhaust resonating off the ground it is super loud.

i have dual flowmaster 40's. sounds pretty sick, and it lets the 5.9L breathe.
