Default New to DF and have a couple of questions

Hi All,

This site is great. Hoping you all can help me out.

1. How do you remove the back door panels on a 2001 Ram 1500 Quad cab? A speaker went out and I am trying to replace it.

2. I'm hearing a sound like water sloshing around in the vents. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks,

never tried to remove the back panels. The water your hearing is either the a/c drain is plugged( not likely) or air in the heater core.

I think badram1500 hit the nail on the head in response to #2. My radiator had a smal leak and when the coolant was low (not emply, just a little low) it allowed air in the system and I heard it in the dash like it was in the vents. Especially when I would first drive off after being parked.

New radiator and full of coolant after purge and no noise.

hope it helps
