Default 5.2 l 1500 exhaust diameter?
whats the size of the exhaust piping 2.25?

i got a flowmasterr exaust system and from the muffler back its 2.5 but this probly dont help you

Going on memory here, could be a little off. Mine IIRC was dual 2.25" or 2" into the cat, 2.5" from cat to muffler, 3" tailpipe from muffler.

i can remember from the manifolds but it's 3" from the "Y" to cat. then 2.5" after that.

depends what year ...stock 96 is dual 2" in cat single 2.5" out , tail pipe 2.5"
