47psi fuel pressure? too high?

Default 47psi fuel pressure? too high?

on a 99 ram with a 5.2l. seems to stay around 47psi while idling and cruising.

That's where mine is, may even be a little higher, I run a synthetic racing blend oil, but anywhere from 40-60 is no reason for concern.
Now if it pegs or goes way past center, worry.

Just curious as to how the type of oil would have any effect on fuel psi?

Pressure rating for the 5.2L regulators is 58 psi +/- .7 psi

The pressure ratings for the 5.2L (as of 1997) is 58psi +/- .7psi

Older regulators are rated at 49psi +/- .7psi

with that said, does that mean i dont have enough? driving for an hour non-stop(70mph in 5th) showed right at 49psi.
