I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 4x4. I go out to warm it up in the mornings and it starts I go to get in it and the doors are alwas locked. Is there a way to reprogram this?
I do not have an owners manual.

yeah, that sucks, huh? mine does thatto me too. i was wondering if you could reprogram it too but ended up getting a remote starter

 

when starting dont press the brake

 

Mine locks after hitting about 15 mph so there must be a way to change the settings.

 

mine does it when put into drive or when you start it while the brake is depressed

 

Don't know if it is supposed to but mine locked on me once when I got out and closed the door at the gas station with the key in the ignition. It was not running. Took almost an hour to get a locksmith while the truck blocked the island. Needless to say I have been careful not to repeat the situation.
