silver_dodge and the air cleaner mod
I have been reading this post (https://dodgeforum.com/m_613741/tm.htm)for a couple of days and you guys have me very interested. I have tried to read everyones response but I want to do this mod tonight so I want to make sure I have everything I need to know. That is also why i put it in a different thread because I was not sure if people would still read that thread anymore.
What I am asking is
[ol][*]What K&N filter did you get (from what vehicle or a part #)[*]Did you get the base/adapter at the autoparts store also[*]The hose going to the air filter assembly now...I have read where guys have just put the breather type on it instead, is this better, the same,or worse[*]Is there anything I need to know besides the basics and cutting the screw[/ol]
You guys are all great I can't go one day without reading this forum....makes me glad to be a Dodge Owner.
Thank Brad

I'm not using a K&N filter and so far, I'm happy with the filter that came with the kit.
I think the breather hose setup is just a matter of personal choice, either way it should work the same.

Ya, i'm still using a paperfilter also. Purolator makes the Mopar paper filter that comes in the kit that I am using, so it is a good quality paper filter.
