ROYAL PURPLE
I run their stuf in everything on my truck. Axles, transmission, transfer case, oil......everything. And have been doing so since new. NOTHING shows any signs of wear, and my gas mileage is 1-2 higher than other guys with the V10, depending on how heavy my foot is that week, LOL. I've tried ALL the different additives and oils over the years, and nothing makes the kind of difference that ROYAL PURPLE does IMHO. Its worth the added cost, give it a try, you won't be sorry (but order it off of ebay to save some dough)
Ya check out the trucks video on this website http://www.royalpurple.com/video/video.html WATCH THE TRUCKS! VIDEO i might have to try this stuff sounds great
oh great story for ya... i got a case (12 quarts) of the motor oil for the price of one quart. yup 12 for $7.50. it seemed to have loosened up the engine a little at higher revs so that was nice, still backed up by the stock exaust and headers but hey it's better a little anyway.
i ran the dino oil, the napa syn stuff, and now the royal stuff. it definetly is better oil, and only needs to be changed at 12000-15000 miles. (still have to do the filter though... hmm reminds me i need to do that).

It gained me about a half of a second in the quarter and the engine seems to be running fine.
I switched it to the RP about 75,000 miles ago, and have had no problems with it. It burns just a tad of oil and leaves a small puff of blue smoke if you leave the truck idling for more than 5 minutes, but, with around 320,000 miles on it now (everything is original), I'm not gonna complain about that. I noticed that the engine runs about 5 degrees cooler than it did before too, so that's good for everything.

I got Royal Purple anywhere fluids are needed on my 1979 Camaro. For my S10 just the cheapest Wal-Mart synthetic lol. Daily driver P.O.S.

I run it in my truck and both my Honda's. The only reason I don't run it in my Chevy is that the local store didn't have the oil I needed for it in Royal Purple so I bought Mobil 1. I like it a lot my only complaint is it's too freakin expensive. I've thought about going back to normal oil to bring the costs of oil changes down but I'm not sure if I want to or not. $45 an oil change is expensive by the time I buy that oil and a good filter.

Stop changing it so much. Synth does not break down and it reduces wear so much that you can go a LONG time between changes.

. Seems like its pretty good stuff, might look into it for next fluid changes.
