about 12 usually, closer to 14 on the highway. Maybe 16 or 17 on a really long trip.
Really bad when it's in 4...

I'm getting around 12 mpg. That was on my last tank full. It was a mix of highway and city.

I have mostly stock setup. Fram Airhog filter, gutted cat, and flowmasters.

I'm going to try it again now that I have replaced the hollowed cat with a new cat. I hope it helps some, exhaust isn't as rich now. It used to make my eyes water while hooking a trailer up but now the exhaust seems normal with the new cat.

2000 5.9 1500/2500 basically stock . Flowmaster, open cat, open air cleaner, modded TB, superchips programmer. Still only 10 cruising hwy, less towing. Had a well built BBC's with carbs get this, except with 300-400 HP.

I have a 97 1500 4wd w/ the 5.9. Only mods are a high flow cat with flowmaster exhaustwhile running 33" tires. I average about 11mpg.

I voted for 8-10 mpg only because I dont really know at this time how accurate my odometer is with the larger tires. I am running 35" tires with a 6" lift, 3.55 gears, and a Magnaflow exhaust.
