Default headlight help/tilt wheel

hey guys. 99' 2500 bright lights ok, regular lights no go unless tilt wheel is all the way up. Any ideas greatly welcomed. Thanks in advance.

gfunkatoa, you will need to check the wiring and/or multifuntion switch in your steering column. You need to remove the sqaureplastic boxaround the steering column. Unscrew the tilt lever first then I think there are 3-4 screws on the underside. Ihad this same problem and was going to replace the multifunction switch. When I got the plastic off, it turned outthere was a broken wire on the connector.It had broke right at the metal terminal in theplug so Istripped some of the wire then soldered it back to theterminal. Fixed the problem and haven't had any problems since.
