Default Column Shifter

How can i adjust my shifter position? Say i put it in drive, the small orange line is above drive, toward nuetral a bit. And when i put it in park, the trans gets there before the shifter. Thanks for any help.

not sure, must be some sort of adjusting screw somewhere. had the same problem on my 92 dakota, and o that it ran a piece of wire that was adjustable, pain in the ***. hopefully someone else has a better idea sorry

The steering column section from the FSM ... the adjustment of the shift indicator is on page 4. Hope this is what you're talking about.

its tricky.. i did it like 3 times and still didnt stab it good so i said forget aboutit
