since we got real snow and ice here in Maryland abd there were a fwe times i had to really use the 4 wheel drive. i noticed a whine when coming to a stop, not a loud whine but it sounded like mudder tires going down the road. is the whine normal?

Sometimes the chain will make a sound if the fluid level islow, or if the fluid quality is poor.
