help i have a 2000 3500 cummins sometimes the transfer pump runs some times it does'nt when it does'nt run it is'nt getting any voltage. according to the wiring diagram it is contolled directly from ecm. when i scan for codes i get 1693. 1689. 1688. also the oil gauge automaticly jumps up to 60 psi as soon as the key is turned on engine not running . same reading with engine running. according to the code discriptions and what is happening. im leaning toward a bad ecm. but i would like some input from someone who knows more about it. thanks charles

 

i believe it could be the ecm but it is also possible that there is something messed up in the wiring.... Have you wired anything in your truck?
