Default What's the name....

Hey guys, what is the name of the stuff that you put down the TB to help clean the engine out. It makes it smoke like crazy. I remember guys with pics during the smoke screen process. I believe it helped with the oil pressure and restoring it to like new. Thats it isn't it "RESTORE". Also is there anything to the process or is it as simple as reading the bottle? Better to do it right before an oil change or doesn't matter. Any help with this or push in the right direction would be great. Can I buy it from any parts store?

sefoam is what you are looking for. i would run some through the brake booster line some in the oil and some in the gas tank. and then change your oil. i did it to my 99 5.9 gasser and it worked wonders.

Dealerships sell a Mopar injector/engine cleaner that does the same thing.

Thanks for the help. I think I will try the restore with my oil change tomorrow and will also get theMopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner and see how it works too. I am not having any issues right now but was just thinking of a couple things to maybe help out the engine in the long run.

Ray97,

I have personally used the Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner. I haven't used seafoam, but I highly recommend using either one. Not because Inoticed a difference in the way it ran, but because it made me laugh like a school girl for about 20 minutes while itblew all of that smoke out. Then to top it all off, completely smoking out both lanes of a major highway for about a 1/2 mile. Nothing funnier period. Best$6.00 I ever spent.
I followed the directions on the can, but there are many write-ups on the internet about people letting it soak over-night. What ever you do, I thinkyou should run the combustion chamber cleaner through the truck before you do the oil change. All instructions say to do this, asit can sometimes getby the rings while it soaks.

if you do mccc let it sit for 2-3 hours and when your done change the oil like he said theres some other stuff we use called emission control plus that you suck in through the intake mani directly and that will make the beer barrel like new inside
