Anyone still using this cup holder upgrade? Why does it work for 98's but not for 97's?

I agree that these trucks have the best cupholders I've ever used, I love them. But I've wanted to get one of these since I first saw them months ago. I never realized they were that cheap, I will be gettin one myself now

Fellas, the earlier 2nd gen dodges had awful cup holders that were located above the radio that puts drinks in the view of the windshield (what a great location, DODGE).

Anybody ever have issues with the later model that folds down from the dash? Only problem I have dealt with is the dang thing rips out of the folding mount at the dash. Other than that is is one of the nicest I have yet to see.

my sisters truck had it rip out of the hinge. don't get air if you have a drink in the cup holder, problem solved. i fixed it with a washer a screw and some epoxy.

correction here the 98-01 had good factory cupholders the 94 -97 holders were a joke...i have better luck just setting the cup on the center console.
