No more rough idle!!!
Thanks to all the searchin I did here on line,I finaly fixed my crappy idle. I just bought this truck a month ago so I didnt know what all was up to speed as far as required maintence. So I pulled the throttle body and cleaned it with cleaner after removing all the sensors from it. I should have taken a pic of the bore for the IAT (sensor on rear of the throttle body?) it was so gummed up with crud that the plunger wouldnet even move. All better now, new sensor is in and no more slopy idle! I changed the wires cap and rotor too, the old cap wasnt even tight, and the rotor was shot. I was getting 9mpg before cant wait to see if its better now.
Runnin like a champ even with 150k.... Now that problems fixed soon to come, lift kit!

Yeah man, try some double platinum Autolite spark plugs when you get a chance, gap to .035
An oil and filter change wouldn't hurt.
And this gets messy, but with that many miles, transmission fluid and filter change.
Next would be the O2 sensor (omg this can be such a pita, but well worth the $60).
That'll keep you busy, but.
A high performance cap and rotor the next time it needs it (in about 1-2 years).
It's only like $5 extra for the Highper version, but it makes a BIG difference.
And some 8mm Taylor wires Woo Hoo (not cheap, about $70).
If you still feel like splurging, try running Synthetic Racing Blend motor oil, 10w-30.
I believe the Autolite spark plug part number is APP5224 (thou this may be the Advance Auto Parts number, I forgot).
Either way, it crosses to Champion's RJ-12YC (but you want the double platinum, so Autolite).
