Anyone know where I can go to get a replacement Dash Bezel for my 99 1500? I went to upgrade my radio and I guess the sun made the plastic brittle. I barly squeezed it and it shattered in my hands. As I pulled it off the top just fell apart.

 

Dealer? It was fairly expensive for my 01. The guy I work with and I replaced the dash on mine as it was cracked and when he pulled it off it broke a piece off. We superglued it but it is starting to crack out from where we glued it so I guess I'll have to replace it soon. I remember not getting it as I didn't want to spend that much. I think it was like $160 or 70 or something but I don't know for sure.

 

As I've said on several other posts for interior items, try your local junk yards. They are usually my first stop for misc. interior and trim parts. A lot of times the junkyards don't care about interior and trim parts so they'll let you have them for free.

$90 ... I had to replace mine for the same reason. Don't order clips or anything else with it ... it comes fully assembled.

 

the dealer want $165 but i went to the junkyard and got one for $35

 

I thought of that (when I needed mine) but figured it would be a waste of time as the ones in the yards would have as much time in the sun as mine did.

 

Thanks for the website. Yes the ones in the yard would have approx the same amount of time in the sun. Good find and less than what I thought I was going to have to pay!
