I just bought a 98 Ram 4x4 sport with the 5.2 liter engine. I bought it "As Is" from the dealer since he was looking at moving the truck. It was a one owner truck and has 93K miles on it. When i tried it out the oil pressure seemed to fluctuate above and below 40 on the oil pressure gauge depending on RPMs. Once I got it on the highway on cruise control it stays steady over 40. Is this something I need to look at now or is this a common dodge thing.

 

you know mine does the exact same thing and i just got my truck im not sure if its correct or not but it must be. john
