How many Liters?
Ok... i seem to have forgotten if my truck is 5.2 or 5.9 liters. It is a 2001 extended cab V8 Magnum. 1500. So, are the 5.2 liters consitered "magnum" too?
I looked in my owner's manual but it doesn't say in there. How do I go about finding this out?
Thanks in advance..

magnum is just the name for em...look on the either the sticker in front of the radiator or the one inside the drivers door, it should say. you could probably look up the vin# too
thats funny......
when i went looking for a truck i found my dodge. I wasnt really excited about a dodge but it looked like a good deal. Low milage, quad cab, good interior, tow pkg. But the sales man told me it had the 5.2L 318,dodges small v8. He said it had about same Hp with better gas milage. he must have seen the sucker in me. So i poped the hood and did a throuroug look inside. Good clean engine, no oily spots, and then i saw it plain as day. A 4x4 sticker on the front of the diver valve cover that says "5.9". I immidiately started laughing and told him i would take it.
honest true story...sorry that doesnt really pertain.

The engine code is the 8th digit of the VIN. That radiator support can easily be replaced from another truck as a result of an accident and it may not be correct. The VIN tells you what should be in there.

yep the radiator support and fenderscome off in one pieceon these rams , but if a radiator support from a different truck was used the sticker should have been removed and a new one ordered for the truck it went on, so the sticker 'should' be correct( i bought mine as a wreck with a parts truck and had to do this)
