A while back I had a problem with no dash lights, which I traced to the fuse. Shortly afterwards, my dome light and O/D dash light stopped working. I don't have my wiring diagram at present and am curious if the two lights are on the same fuse. The dome light works when the door is ajar, but not when the headlight **** is rotated all the way to the "On" position.

I actually had the same problem with the dome light. I put in a new headlight switch and the dome light part was not grounding out. I ended up putting a different switch for the dome light in the truck.

Interesting, because when I first lost my dash lights, I thought it was a headlight switch. I replaced the switch and nothing happened. That's when I found it was the fuse. Maybe I had a wire come loose.
