Default V6 to V8

I reciently purchased a 2000 Ram with a V6 and 385,000 miles. I also just happen to have a rebuilt 318 sitting in my garage. Installing the new motor is not a problem, Im wondering about trying to use fuel injection or just go with a carb set up. Will anything from the V6 fuel injection swap over to the V8 or will I need to search Junkyards for the V8 fuel injection system. If I go with a carb setup will I need to change anything to make it work. Im not concerned about emissions and this truck will be used for light farm work. Any help would appriciated.

If you go with MPFI you'll need a new PCM as the one in the 2000 is for a 6 banger. A carb would eliminate that problem, of course, but do you have an intake manifold that will work?
