so what would happen if you use the programmer to advance your timing by 4 degrees and then do the crank sensor mod to advance it another 2 or 3?? to much timing? i had the death flash and installed the programmer.. so now my truck is just at stock timing?

Yes, probably too much advance. Your programmer put a completely new timing advance curve in the PCM ... not just "undoing" the DF but adding some over stock, as well. Performing the crank sensor mod advances your BASE timing ... where the timing curve starts ... not the curve itself.

I dunno, I have 33s on my truck and I have no problem spinning them out. But if you really want a truck that spins tire Buy a Ranger or an F-150, You'll burn the ****ing tires going around every corner even when you're not trying.those trucks must have no weight in the back end or something I don't know what the deal is. They're always spinning tire

Yeah, I'll pick up a Hypertech in the next paycheque I guess. Probably a new TB as well. Gotta love getting some over time. As is though, still waiting on my Valve Covers and Breather. Again, thanks for all the help!

Chad.
