Default my last dodge

yeah let me start off by sayin i made a bad choice buying it it was a good deal and i needed an winter beater, $600 not bad it drove home but it needed
-new shocks
-brakes all the wayaround wheel cyl & calipers( they were frozen)
-new brakes lines
-the readator was ballooned , needed an new one
-new tires
-cap and rotor , wires plugs
-new airfilter
-then on my way back to school one sun night my fuel pump decided to die ...like every 4 miles it took me 5hr to go 200 miles

The motor burned "some oil " is the way the kid told me,well when you run a vehicle with out an air filter through mud pits..... goin 200 miles it usetoo go through almost 3 quarts.
so over my winter break i did an motor swap i thought it would be best way to go $750 later...with new
-waterpump
oil pump
thermostat ( i needed to chage all of theses for the warranty^)
belt
core plugs
clutch kit
flywheel resurfaced

then on my way back to school one weekend after break it would start to cut out , well i was haing problems in the morning on start up i wasnt gettin gound to the relay on the fuel pump side of the relay and it like like 30min for it to make connection , so i found out my comp was bad ,cause all of the mounts broke off and was ziptied to the old bracket and finely died .....sooo i needed to get an new comp , but my truck is 5 speed so there for hard to find or you have to send it in to get rebuilt ...and they wouldnt fix my case so i wanted to get a new one well the parts stores have the part # in there comps but not in there warehouses....so ifound an used one not to far away for $185 so i get it put it in , wont start so i try and run a fue tests and ....i break my tumbler.........so at this point i am pissed i could have gottem my engine done in my mustang so i get a tumbler $55 and i get half off at our school parts store list price is like $95 and i replaced the ignition switch cause there was a part of the tumbler i couldent get out witch was $40

and come to find out some of the progs on the comp were bent alson and a wire goin to the comp broke so i got it runnin now but i am done with dodges all my friends with dodges have problems but what can i say its an 94 you get what you pay for but i didnt expect this much sh*t ...really

What do you expect from a 600 dollar beater?

Dont blame the truck, it was obviously beaten on...
I dont care waht brand it is, anything can have problems...

I really dispise it when people do things liek that and just because of one experience they automatically hate the whole company...

ratbagged indeed.

as the saying goes, you get what you paid for. 600 bucks for a pickup, im surprised it lasted long enough for you to get it home.

Well you got lucky...

My dad bought his f-150 new, it is a 1996 and im not even going to go over the problems that thing has had, but its got 110,000 miles and its about worn out in every dimension.
My dads old 72 dodge d-200 had either 315,000 some miles or 330,000 I dont remember, but that was a damn good truck right there.

You're going to have to spend about 10X that much for a decent one

That's the problem with a beater vehicle ... it's near the end of it's life. Just because you got lucky with the F-150 ... don't EXPECT it to happen again.
