Default coolant

Ok I have a 96 Ram with a 5.9 auto tranny all stock about 180K for milage. My coolant level stays low and the overflow empties in about 48 hours after it is filled. I have no visible leaks, a new radiator and thermostat with hosesand the oil has no coolant in it and the truck runs at normal temp and no fault codes. Thing is I can smell it but cant find it. Anyone have a starting point for me? I really would appreciate it.
