Default what a terrible week and need a lot of help!!!!!

Guys this is the worst nightmare you can think of! ok got in a wreck this weekend and pretty much totalled my body. Probaly going to need a new cab and bed. any help guys? my driver side is perfect but my passenger side is pretty bad. I've been told by a couple buddies that i will have to replace the whole cab but it looks like its mainly the door but slightly the cab. Could a body shop fixed this good? i will have pics posted tommorow for you guys to see. But if you guys can please help me find some parts or how good are body shops? many questions just please help me out. I will need a passenger front fender new hood, lights, just mainly a lot of things. please help thanks.

as a body tech myself, [sm=ttiwwp.gif], but what do you mean, "could a body shop fixed this good"? from the sounds of it, its far from some of the POS's that come in our shop, never the less, they come out looking like new. so to answer your question, im pretty sure a body shop could fixed it good.

sounds nice! brought my feelings up a littlebut will indee post pics tommorow if you can look at them tommorow and tell my my chances of fixi will be real happy.i've have seen worse then mine be fixed but just wanted the chances. Good thing is that the frame is not bent checked on that its just the body and need to put the wheel back on![:@]snapped at ball-joints but its a easy fix just worried about the body. what happens if the support at the bottom of the cab is broken? will they be able to make a brace or how could they fix it? can it be done?

i'm surprised they didn't write it off, nevertheless i'm sure it could be done i mean you can get all the body panels some paint etc, i'd be worried about the frame and alignment

DAMN, what did your insurence have to say about this? im with the dude above me, definilty shoulda been written off....
what makes you sure you didnt bend the frame? did you get it measured? i can almost bet that the right horn got pushed in. lots of suspension work.. id trailer it to a body shop and get a quote. your gonna get raped with the price tho. thats a lot of work.

Im sure the frame isnt bent i have had two people looked at it already and the frame is ok. I got a guy coming wed. to come quote it on price of body damage and the quote. He said i should be looking about $5000. what do you guys think? what about the alignment? can that be fixed and put back in place?

Wow, $5000? Why not write it off, have a cheque cut, and see about purchasing a new one? Yeah, I'm guessing it'd be a hit on your insurance... but damn... that has GOT to have hurt.

He just gave me a max. amount what it could cost. I loved the truck and am not willing to see it go If it is over $5grand time for a new one but the cost should be about $3000 im thinking.
