Front hub nut torque spec.
Hey Folks,
My '99 ram 1500 2wd has the rotor as one piece, not two. What is the torque spec for the hub nut? Back in the old days, we'd tighten them down to like 20lbs spin the rotor and retorque to 30 lbs.
My hub is NOT separate from the rotor, they are one piece.
Thanks!
greg

The 2001 FSM shows the 2WD as having 2 piece rotor/hub assemblies.
(3) Install the new hub/bearing nut and tighten to:
² LD 1500: 251N·m (185 ft. lbs.)
² HD 2500/3500: 380 N·m (280 ft lbs.)
I have the 1998 FSM at the house ... since you have a 99 ... maybe it'll show something different.
