First off, they don't make a 3.73 for 1500 axles, and if they did, it would be a total dog with 35's. The gear you have is ideal for the tires you have, but if you think you want to spend the moeny, I wouldn't go below 4.10. Regardless of how much highway miles you do, you still need to accelerate from a standstill . WIth 35" tires, if you don't go with at least 4.10, you will be ******* it off the line, causing stress to the drivetrain and probably making your gas mileage go down because of how much throttle you will need to get the thing moving.

The first link is for 2003 and later Dodge truck 9.25, which I think is different then the 9.25 we have in the sencond gen trucks.. Some in the second link might work I guess, but if you can't find a gear for the rear, no sense in getting one for the front Dana 44.

I really think you will hate 3.73:1 ratio unless you plan to down size your tires too (which would mean downsizing the lift too so it doesn't look funny).

Sorry, I was confusing your truck with mcss8541's truck. Ignore my comment about downsizing, that is for his truck.
Next best gear ratio for you (assuming you currently have the stock 3:55) is going to be 3.92. What size tires you running?

Thanks for the help I really appreciate it. I was looking to go to 4.10's but they don't have them for the Dana44 front axel.....or least I can't fine them and I can't run a mix-match set of gears. From what I've been getting from the feedback is to stay with my current 4.56's with the 35's I'm running. I might go back to the 37's or maybe some 36's. Any suggestions, I'm a racecar guy just getting into the 4 wheel drive-lifted truck thing. Thanks!
