i bought a oem lsd off of ebay and the seller said that the unit was missing the clips on the clutch packs and im not really sure what hes talking about . even thoughh ive burned through 4 trannys in 3 rams in less than 70000 mi well one doesnt really count it was a brand new hemi that went through a lot of tires i never reall had any trouble with a rear end so never took it apart
has anyone ever heard of these clips id appreciate any help thanks

 

It's a common problem with these. Mine has done it and now it seems like if you do a burnout the lsd will slip some. Just started that recently. I'm not sure if you can replace them or if you have to replace the whole thing though.
