Default first dodge

hey guys,

i just bought my first dodge, its an 01 ram 1500, with the 5.2 ltr, so far i love it, i put a k&n intake kit, and i did some custom exhaust setup, it seems to be ok power wise, but its soon to get a highrise intake mani, and a trottle body.

my only question with the truck is the trans, it has 89k on it and is the 1st to 2nd gear shft usually soft? or is it a sign of it going out? im a chevy tech so this is all new to me.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

first things first, beautiful trucks midnight runner...... and then welcome to the forum wadeimus..... and congrats for going dodge
my trans shifts real smooth as well from first to second gear (see sig for description) i dont believe that is neccessarily bad but i could be wrong i am installing a new trans cooler in the spring hoping that it keeps the trans strong......

id be more concerned with a hard shift than a soft shift...now if by soft you mean its slipping...then you have a problem
