Got a crazy problem...the front seat belts locked themselves in the retracted position for no apparent reason. Both rear shoulder belts worked fine, but both front belts wouldn't unlock from the front seat.A few hours later, the problem went away and they work fine now...there must be a malfunctioning sensor somewhere..any ideas?

 

Yes, the same thing happened to my truck as well. It actually ended up killing my battery if I didn't drive the truck for a week or so. The solenoids in the seat stayed picked up when the truck was off. The battery was drawing about half an amp when I checked it out and I narrowed it down to the solenoids. What I had to do was remove the center seat to get at the rollover sensor under it. After checking the wiring diagrams, I ended up cutting the pink wire on the harness to the rollover sensor. It fixed my battery problem. The result of this is that you will not be able to pull the seat belt out when the ignition is off, but that didn't really bother me since the truck is running when I put the belt on anyway.
