Default Right front clicking noise

My 95 ram 2500 4x4 5.9 gas truck is making a clicking noise at the right front wheel. It only makes noise in 2wd, NOT 4wd. this leads me believe that it is coming from the actuator... maybe it is not fully disengaging? could it be front a U joint or hub bearing? Any thoughts?
thanks

I would say u joints make a clicking noise when my bearing went out it was more of a metal vs metal growling noise.
