Ok guys and gals i bought a 2000 4x4 quad cab off road and it seems to have a little bit of rough idle to it and i was wanting to know if there has been problems with this and it is a quick fix or is it that it may just need a tune-up?????I had a 95 reg cab and it did the same thing but i didnt have it very long until i sold it so i didnt try anything on it and i test drove another one before i bought this one and it was really bad.....so i was wanting to know if they are just known for this or what?????I used to own the heavy chevy but i have been transformed over to the RAM and i like it a lot better,but just wanting to know about the rough idle?The air switches to the top vents when i have it on and floor it but i know from you guys already that it is a vacuum leak i have to find.....other than that i love the truck....so if anyone can help let me know!THANX

i had the same problem with my 04' hemi, especially when cold. i had the dealership look at it, and they "upgraded the software". problem solved.
