Rancho RS5000, or Monroe Reflex. I use them on my 95'. I get all the shock I need.

Good luck with your ride.

Shocks and struts should be checked every 12,000 miles or when any of these symptoms are noticed:
[ul][*]bouncy or uncomfortable ride [*]excessive body sway when cornering [*]fluid leaks from the shock or strut [*]physical damage to the shock or strut [*]nose dive when braking [*]uneven tire wear [*]tail squat when accelerating [/ul]

Slacked off for 4 months, finally ordered Monroe's Reflex's. Anything has to be better than the 10 year old stock one's right? The creaking noise they are making are driving me crazy!

FWIW, on a stock truck I like the Monroe Reflex. I used to put them on quite a few trucks back when I worked at a brake shop many years ago, and I always found them to have a nice ride. I think you will like them.

I think for a stock truckI would stay away from the Rancho RS5000's though because of their valving. They work great on lifted trucks, but on stock springs I always thought they rode pretty stiff IMHO.
