HEY EVERYONE I HAVE A 95 DODGE RAM 1500 SINGLE CAB AND I LOST MY DOOR PIN WHEN I WAS PAINTING MY TRUCK I JUS RECENTLY GOT A NEW ONE AND MY DOMELIGHTS STILL DONT WORK. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME

Your talking about little plunger type switch inbetween the door hinges? The switch needs to be clean and the metal around the switch must be bare. I'd use a dremmel with the wire brush tip to clean around "the hole".lol. That plunger switch closes a ground and completes the circuit.

You should still be able to activate the dome lights with the headlight switch.


This applys to the switches on both sides.

did you remove the doors to paint? is it possible you may have clipped some wires?

ok so will this plunger switch also make my cargo lights and my electric mirrors not work?? and the switch was dirty so ill try to clean it.
