my 95 dodge ram 1500 with a 3.9L v6 needs a new exhaust system,I was looking at Gibson's Swept side exhaust system, but in the notes of it, it says"Will not fit if psgr shock is behind the rear axle (94)" my questions are:

1. what the heck is the PSGR shock? pictures would help wonderfully

2. anyone have sound clips of there v6 ram with a gibson muffler or that on their truck?

3. any other good exhaust systems out there for 3.9L V6's

 

so no one is able to help me?

 

I'll take a shot.

1. PSGR = passenger side shock
2. No sound clips, but have heard a Gibson on several trucks and they sound OK.
3. Not sure.

 

I put a 27" thrush glass pack in place of te stock muffler. I put a turn down tip on the end of the glass pack. It sounds damn good for a v6 no throaty sound till like 4000 rpms. Its cheap, easy, and it works. I'd look into that
