i used to always do that aswell, my truck started burning 12 litres of oil a month, i'm not sure if the original posters was burning as much as mine but it was pretty extreme, funny thing is i still drove the **** out of it, and it never died, i did pull the motor though and found my only problem to be valve seals had popped up, my rings were all good and everything, i did replace everything though

actually it was going through about 5 quarts in about 3 days!!!

5 qts in 3 days? Jesus! I'm interested to see whats wrong with it if it still runs. Funny if it was just blown head gaskets and a broken valve spring or something
