Default 1999 cruise light (bulb or led)?

My cruise is working but the light does not come on. If it is a led I need to replace the entire cluster. I'd like to know before I start pulling things apart.

Thanks

Start test with key in the "OFF" position. Press the odometer trip reset button and hold it ... turn key to "ON" (do not start truck). Release button once cluster begins self-test.

Thanks for the tip. All it said was CHEC. In the morning I'll hook of up scanner and check for a code. Maybe it will show something. In a few weeks I need to open the dash to upgrade my audio system so I want to do everyhting at one time if I need to replace the clsuter.
