Okay well i got my Auburn Posi and 4.10 gears for my rearend. Its gonna go in when i afford the labor of putting it in. Well my truck has shifting problems. It wont shift on time it will shift late sometimes after it overrevs. My buddy told me it was my shift cable that it needed to be adjusted. another friend said put a programmer and a shift kit in it and it will correct it. Whos right? Also i really do need a shift kit. Where can u find one? thnx guys!!!

ah, I get your question to the previous thread. Do a search on transmission kickdown cable, it has adjusting instructions on it. the hypertech doesn't do shift firmness/points for the dodges. It's really a simple process, and I did mine this morning. Only advice, a little adjustment goes a long way. I heard somewhere in the 1/8" = 100 rpm shift difference.
