Default Steering Wheel Adustment??

My steering wheel isnt straight.........do I adjust it by loosening the nutsand turningthe adjustment sleeve that is located between the drag link and the pittman arm? Which direction? My steering wheel is currently in a 1/4 left turn direction when driving straight.

I am not an expert by far, only offering my .02, but sounds to me like a lazy wheel alignment to me. Tie rods were not adjusted equally, only one one side to align the front end. Again, only my .02 thought.

You can adjust it by turning the adjusting sleeve however by doing so you will through it out of allighnment. You can use the string allighnment method, however for $39.95 to have the pros do it is money well spent.

Lazy wheel aligners ... the FIRST thing you do is center the wheel.

You can fix it yourself without screwing up your alignment by turning the adjustment sleeves the same number of turns in opposite directions.
