Hey, I was wondering if it was possible to put a turbo or supercharger on my 98 Ram 5.9L. I've looked around for them and things and people have them but I was wondering if anyone has done a forced air upgrade and how hard it might be. Thanks.

 

I'm not sure which one is more cost effective for you, but supercharing would be better, at least in my opinion.

 

Alright thanks. I was thinking about either building and adding more power, or selling it for a diesel becuase theres a lot more you can do to them to add more power, or getting a car with a supercharger. But, I'm sticking with the truck for right now.

 

I'll try to dig up the page for you. cause I was considering putting a centrifigual (sp?) supercharger on mine.

 

they make supercharger kits for the 2gen rams.. a turbo would be a custom install.. been playing with the idea myself aswell..

i know the kits run from 3K and better.. RM_indy has one .. he'd be the one to ask

id go for the turbo.. custom-one-off, and "free power".. and sound mad cool

Buy a diesel.
Sounds cooler, more power, you can easily get LOTS of power, and its already turboed[sm=gears.gif]
