Default Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust

Hey guys,

I was just wondering what type of effects the diameter of the exhaust pipes has on performance. My truck is a 1998 ramwith the360 V8 andI currently have a Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust kit w/ 2.50" outlets. Is this the right size for my truck?

I was also thinking about doing a couple performance mods pretty soon. I thought about getting a K&N Cold Air Intake, Magnaflow Hi-Flow Cat, and Gibson Stainless Headers. Would this be a good combination and what type of gains do you think I could expect?

Thanks
