RE: Bed removal
6 bolt's and the fuel filler assembly and it's off....take measurements of the gap between the bed and cab...i think mine were around 3/4 to 7/8 of an inch and to put it back onget the bolts started and push shimmy the bed around until it's lined up then tighten the bolts back down..i had to move mine up for the bodylift. the bolts - one on each side up front near the cab, 2 on each side in the rear, very close to each other and close to the bumper, you'll need an extension to go through the frame...as for weight..you've got me but i don't think it weighs more then 300 pounds or so

Two guys can lift the bed off and set it on the ground. We do it all the time at my shop to install goosenecks and underbed 5w hitches.

basicly im looking to break 14's by dropping weight. I believe Iv dropped about a tenth or two with what iv removed so far, just hoping the bed would kick that extra 2 or so.
