Default Scored some free wheels. Painty time.

A co-worker of mine was given these by her brother after she toasted one of the wheels on her F150. They didn't fit so she gave them to me. I think Rather then leaving them stock, I'd like to paint them. I really like the dark gunmetal look of the TRD truck wheel's, so that's the look I think I am going to execute.

Here are the wheels as they sit now:

and here's how I think I will paint them: (lazy photoshop FTW)

Thoughts, comments, questions, concerns?

Old picture, but nothing has changed except for the addition of lights behind the grille and behind the bumper. New tires also.

I think I'm going to go have the wheels spun to make sure they aren't bent or damaged, then I will paint and get my tires mounted onto them.

The majority of factory parts have a tendency to long outlast aftermarket parts. Hence the higher price tag.

In this case free is free.

Stock FTMFW.

Haha, but I think I might do this to my wheels. Would you be okay with that?

But that pic is perfect. It looks like it could have been a poster for Dodge back in '01.

dude, that is going to look SICK!! That smoke with the blue! My son would love that truck.. wanna trade?? That's right, you have the lights set up I like! Yeah..

That will really be a sharp combo.. That's an idea for 98dodgeram1500, he likes the stock rim look, he could throw some color on that....

btw, didn't GMC do that first? before Toyota?

IIRC there was a GMC wheel that looked like that from the 80's...
